Full context:   Out of Belgium, Michel Weber has created in 2001 the Whitehead Psychology Nexus and the Chromatiques whiteheadiennes scholarly societies, and he has been the driving force behind several book series, including the series published by Weber’s own publishing company, Les éditions Chromatika (forty four titles at present), and the Process Thought Series published by Ontos Verlag / De Gruyter (twenty seven titles). The already mentioned Handbook of Whiteheadian Process Thought is part of the latter book series. In it, 101 internationally renowned Whitehead scholars give an impressive overview of the 2008 status of their research findings in an enormous variety of domains (cf. Armour 2010). Missing in the Handbook, however, are most Whitehead scholars reading Whitehead through Deleuzian glasses—especially Isabelle Stengers, whose 2011 book, Thinking with Whitehead, cannot be ignored. The Lure of Whitehead, edited by Nicholas Gaskill and A. J. Nocek in 2014, can largely remedy that shortcoming. Important for Whitehead scholarship, is the fact that the Handbook is in the process of being transformed into an online Whitehead encyclopedia, which will contain additional entries, and of which the entries will be kept up to date. This is being done by the Whitehead Research Project, that is, by the people responsible for editing and publishing the book series, Contemporary Whitehead Studies (fifteen titles), and The Edinburgh Critical Edition of the Complete Works of Alfred North Whitehead, of which two volumes of The Harvard Lectures of Alfred North Whitehead have already seen the light of day. The Whitehead Research Project website also refers to a Whitehead Reading Group, contains a Research Blog, and provides access to the Whitehead Research Library, which holds a wealth of mostly unpublished materials, such as letters from and to Whitehead (cf. Whitehead Research Project [OIR]).
